AMU BA LLB 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Candidates wishing to apply for the BA LLB exam must be Indian citizens.

Age limit 

• The applicant should not be more than 22 years of age at the time of admission 

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board of education.

Note: Students who will be taking the final year qualification exams will also be able to apply.

Bridge Course

• Candidates qualified with the Bridge course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris)  from AMU with a minimum 50% aggregate are also eligible.

AMU BA LLB 2020 Steps to Fill Online Application Process

Following are the steps candidates need to follow for registration and filling of application form:

Step 1- Register as a new user

• Click the link to the AMU BA LLB application form link (will be updated once it is made available).

• Register as “new user”.

• Fill in the required details; create a username and a password and enter the right personal information.

• The candidate will be redirected to the “login” page.

Step 2- Login as a new user

• Fill in your registered username and password to proceed further.

Step 3- Update your profile

• Once logged in, candidates will be required to fill in the relevant details such as name, email id, age, father’s name, etc.

Step 4- Adding education qualification

• Candidates will then have to enter their education qualifications manually or upload the scanned copy of their mark sheets.

• If any candidate’s result is awaited, he/she should fill all the columns except the marks and write RA (Result awaited) in the given space.

Step 5- Uploading photos

• After entering educational details, candidates will need to upload his/her latest scanned front-facing passport size coloured photograph.

• The candidate will also upload a clear picture of his/her signature & thumb impression (left thumb impression only).

• The size of the images should be between 20KB to 200KB (JPG or PNG).

Step 6- Fee deposition

• After providing the asked information, the next step is fee deposition.

• The charged amount for the application form is Rs. 600/-.

• Candidates can remit fees as per the mentioned modes of payment.

Step 7- Submission of the application form

• The final step of filling the application form is the submission of it.

• Candidates can submit the form after providing all the necessary details.

• It is advised that candidates must keep a copy of fee receipt (if provided) and of the application form.

Given below is the list of scanned documents required while filling the application form:

• Birth certificate or High school certificate (10th standard).

• 12th standard’s mark sheet.

• Signature.

• Coloured photograph.

  Availability of Admit card:

• Admit Card for AMU BA LLB 2020 will be available to the candidates from the Second Week of April 2020.

  Download Procedure:

• Visit the Official AMU Website.

• Click on Download Admit Card For Admission Test 2020-21.

• In the admit card download page, aspirants need to select 'B.A.LL.B' programme from the 'Select a Course' drop-down menu.

• After selection of the course and entering your Application number, click on ‘Download Admit Card’ and save the admit card for AMU BA LLB 2020 for future correspondences.

• After checking all the details inscribed on the admit card of AMU BA LLB 2020, candidates need to get it printed out on A4 size sheet and keep extra copies with them.

• View and download the admit card and print it for Test.

The question paper will contain a total of 100 Questions:

a) 75 Objective Type Question's (75% Weightage)

b) 10 Short Answer Type (25% Weightage)

Identification Documents on Test Day

The admit card is an important document it acts as an entry ticket to the examination hall.

Report to the selected test centre with two copies of the Admit card.

one photocopy of the application form and any one of the following for photo identification:

The Applicants must carry valid Identification Documents such as:

• Permanent Driving License.

• Passport.

• PAN Card.

• A candidate must preserve his/ her admit card until the examination process is over since it will be required at the time of counselling.

• A candidate must bring his/ her valid original documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.

• Candidates should report to the examination hall half an hour before the start of the examination. No entry shall be allowed after the test starts.

• Candidates must bring blue ballpoint pen for filling entries in the answer sheet.

• Exchange of pen/ pencil/ sharpener etc is strictly not allowed in the examination hall.

• Use of mobile phone electronic calculator, log table, slide ruler is not permissible

• AMU BA LLB 2020 Results are expected to be announced in the second week of July 2020.

• The merit list for the AMU BA LLB 2020 Five-Year Integrated Law Exam will be prepared on the basis of the marks awarded by the candidates.

• This merit list will be prepared by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) upon the announcement of results.

 The merit list prepared by AMU will contain the following elements:

Counselling Procedure: 

• The candidate has to appear for the counselling in person.

• The seats will be allotted based on the merit list.

• The admission and counselling fee of Rs. 11145 will have to be paid at this stage.

• The candidate has to provide his/her original documents to get admission.

• A demand draft of Rs. 11145 drawn in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh.

Admission to the B.A.LL.B.-5 Year Integrated program is made strictly on merit based result of the Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Test & Personal Interview of the student

• Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with aggregate not less than 60% of the total marks.

                                             (or)

• Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with 60% marks in aggregate.

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 50% marks in Senior secondary exam.

He/ she should have a required rank in the entrance test.

Yes, you are eligible for AMU BA LLB 2020.

Candidates irrespective of their domicile status will be considered eligible to appear in AMU BA LLB entrance exam if they meet the AMU BA LLB 2020 eligibility criteria for their academic qualification.

• Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam B.A.LL.B. will be of 2 hours.

• Total of 100 questions will be there in the exam and candidates will have to attempt all of the questions in the exam.

• The exam will be in multiple-choice.

• Candidates will have to choose one correct answer out of many.

• There shall be one paper of 100 marks consisting of 75 objective type questions (75% weight-age) and 10 short answer type questions (25% weight-age).
