AP PGLCET 2019  Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile
  • The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy the Local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974 and the amendments made thereto from time to time.
Age Limit
  • Age on admission into law courses is subject to the rule position in vogue at the time of admission.
Educational Qualification for 2 Year LL.M. Course
  • Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible. A candidate appearing for LLB/BL degree examinations may take the AP PGLCET in anticipation of results. However, the candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks in aggregate (for OC/BC) and 45% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST) at the time of counselling.
Note: The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through a single sitting system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission into the law courses.

Note: Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material) or electronic gadgets etc., in the Examination Room/ Hall.

AP PGLCET 2019 Exam Day Instructions

The Candidate should preserve the hall ticket to produce it at the time of test and later at the time of entry into the course. Candidate will not be permitted into the exam hall after the scheduled time on the date of entrance test.

Candidates have to maintain silence in the examination hall so as not to disturb other students attending the exam.

No candidate is allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination hall.
Candidates are also requested to check the instructions before they attend the entrance exam. Books, printed papers (other than their Admit Cards), Manuscripts or electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, cell phones and electronic diary, calculators etc, must not be taken into the examination hall.
Candidates have to click on Save and Submit immediately after the time is up.

Malpractice of any form detected during or after the examination is liable to the cancellation of candidature.

Approach the hall invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the course of the examination. Candidates are not permitted to enter or leave the examination hall in the scheduled time of the examination.

Candidate Test Results has been released & are available in the AP PGLCET 2019 official website from 20 May 2019.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of AP PGLCET.

 

Step 2: candidate should Navigate Results tab.

 

Step 3: Enter their Registration Number, LAWCET Hall Ticket Number and Click View Result.

Cut - Off Procedure

Cut Off: The cut off is the lowest marks candidates must secure to pass the entrance examination.

 

The AP PGLCET 2019 Cut Off will be set by the exam conducting authority. Students will be able to check the cut off through online mode.

 

Apart from qualifying cut-off, some colleges release their separate cut off for providing admission in law courses. The cut-off will be based on various factors which are mentioned below:

 

  • The total number of seats in colleges.

 

  • The difficulty level of the exam.
