Educational Qualification

• The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.

• The Cut-off date for obtaining the Primary Medical Qualification is on or before 31 May 2019.

• It is mandatory to provide proof/documentary evidence in support of the candidate having passed the final examination for such a primary medical qualification on or before the cutoff date.

• The Candidate seeking provisional or permanent registration shall not have to qualify the Screening Test if he/she holds an Under Graduate medical a qualification from Australia/Canada/New Zealand/The United Kingdom/United States of America and has been recognized for enrolment as a medical practitioner in that country. 

• To appear for the Foreign Graduate Medical Examination, undergraduate candidates should meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

FMGE 2019 Online Application Process

Steps to fill-Up in Online Application Process:

• Visit the official website of the FMGE 2019.

• Click on 'New Registration' for New User.

• Click on 'Applicant Login' for Already Registered Candidate.

• Applicants will be re-directed to a New Log In Page.

• Candidates will have an option to fill the form and register by completing the processes entirely and save the form.

• Thereafter, the candidate needs to choose the test centre of his/ her choice and submit the application.

• Applicants will have to upload their Photograph, signature saving the details.

• After uploading these documents, click on the "Submit" button.

• Mode of Payment: You can pay the fees Online.

• Submit and take a print out of the fees paid for future use.

Note: FMGE 2019 Application Fee is non-refundable in any case.

Hall Ticket has been released for June Session and is available to download on Official Website from 21 June 2019.

Hall Ticket will be available to download on Official Website for December Session from the 1st week of December 2019.

• Candidates should Log - into the FMGE 2019 Official Website 

• Enter User ID, Password and Click on Log-In.

• Upon successful log-in, the hall ticket will be displayed on a screen.

Test day Requirements

• One Passport Size Photo

• PWD Certificate

Acceptable ID’s include (must be original, valid and nonexpired)–Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhar card, etc.

Note: Candidates should not bring any material with them except the Hall Ticket & Valid ID Proofs.

Use of calculators, log tables and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, and cellular phones are strictly prohibited for the test.

Candidates have to reach the Examination Center before the reporting time because of pre-test procedure including Registration and On-Site Orientation.

Once the On-Site Registration has begun, he/she shall not be allowed into the examination hall.

Candidates must also register their names at the registration counter where their hall tickets are also verified.

Candidates are not allowed to bring any kind of printed/written materials to the exam hall.

Once the test starts, the candidate will not be allowed to go outside the exam hall under any circumstances.

Candidates are also not allowed to carry calculators, any kind of electronic gadgets, wrist watches, or any other object/device into the exam hall.

During the exam, Candidates have to be silent and let others write their exam peacefully.

Candidates found doing unfair things in the presence of invigilator his/her application is cancelled and banned immediately.

FMGE 2019 Results

Exam Result Date

Candidate Test Results has been released & is available on the official website of FMGE 2019 from 31 July 2019.

Results will be available to download on Official Website for December Session from the last week of January 2020.

Procedure to check the Result

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of FMGE.

Step 2: candidate should Navigate Results tab.

Step 3: Click on 'Result for FMGE June 2019'.

Step 4: The Result for FMGE 2019 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it for further use.

Cut Off Procedure

Candidates have to score minimum cut off marks as decided by the board. It is expected that the cut off marks for 2019 session can be the same as that of the previous year (2018). 

• Scoring the cut off marks is mandatory for the candidates to be eligible for practice in India. 

• Candidates have to score a minimum of 150 out of 300 (50% of total marks) to qualify the entrance exam.

• The result will contain the student’s performance Cut Off and pass/fail status of the entrance exam.

• After scoring the cut off marks successfully candidates will undergo a one-year internship process and then successfully get registered under MCI.
