Ph.D. (submitted/awarded) or PhD pursuing in Population Studies / Demography / Statistics / Biostatistics / Mathematics / Economics

OR

M.Phil. degree in Population Studies / Demography / Statistics / Biostatistics / Mathematics /Economics and one-year experience of working in Demographic and/or Health-related research project

OR

Master’s degree in Population Studies / Demography / Statistics / Biostatistics / Mathematics / Economics and two-year experience of working in Demographic and/or Health-related research project

Note: Essential qualifications may be relaxed by the selection committee in case of a candidate found exceptionally suitable otherwise.

Senior Research Officer - 2 Posts

1. Experience in working with census data
2. Experience in generating maps through GIS/ArcGIS viz. able to produce data layers, maps, tables or reports using geographic information systems (GIS) technology.
3. Exposure to geospatial statistics
