Educational Qualification

To be eligible for Admission to any of the Colleges a candidate must fulfil the following conditions:-

• Recognized Diploma of Minimum 3 years duration from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).

• A minimum of Overall 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) must be Scored in the Polytechnic Course.

• Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply but they must have to produce their Original Mark sheet along with Pass Certificate of the Final Diploma on the day of Admission.

A certain amount of reservation criteria is applied by the Assam Government, at the time of allotting the seats across its member colleges.

• Students residing in the state of Assam - 70%

• SC and ST - 5%

• Other Backward Caste (OBC) - 5%

• General Category (Outside Assam) - 20%

JLEE 2019 Online Application Process

Steps to fill-Up in Online Application Process:

• Visit the official website of the JLEE 2019.

• Click on 'JLEE 2019'.

• Click on 'Application Form' for New Registration & 'Login for Registered Candidates'.

• Applicants will be re-directed to a New Log In Page.

• Candidates have to go through the instructions for filling the online form.

• After reading the above instructions to fill the Online Application Form, the Applicant has to click the Next button to display the Online Application Form.

• They have an option to fill the form and complete the processes entirely and save the form.

• Fill the Online Application Form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (Size of the photograph should be maximum 35 kb and minimum 20 kb.

• Size of Signature should be of maximum 30 kb and minimum 15 kb.

• The photograph and signature should be either in '.jpeg' or '.jpg' format).

• After uploading these documents, click on the "Submit" button.

• After submitting the Online Application Form, Please follow the link provided to understand the payment process.

• Pay the fee through online payment facility, which will be available after one working day of filling the online Application Form.

• Submit and take a print out of the fees paid for future use.

Note: 

• JLEE 2019 Application Fee is non-refundable in any case.

• Applicant's email id and mobile number, Password may be used for further correspondence.

• Please note that, if any mistake is committed by the candidate while filling the online Application Form, cannot be corrected by this office.

• The Office is not responsible for any such kind of submitted forms. The candidate can submit application afresh.

• Applicants are requested to keep track of their fee status by re-login in, using their Application number & Password.

JLEE 2019 Admit Card

Availability of Hall Ticket:

Hall Ticket has been released and is available on the Official Website from 18 June 2019.

Download Procedure:

• Candidates should Log - into the JLEE 2019 Official Website 

• Click on JLEE 2019.

• Login using Application Number or User Name & Password.

• Upon successful log-in, the hall ticket will be displayed on a screen.

• Download and take a printout.  

• Admit Card will not be generated in any circumstances if payment is pending or not paid before the deadline.

• This call letter/Admit Card/Hall Ticket is only to appear in OMR based examination, Student cannot claim his/her selection.

Use of calculators, log tables and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, and cellular phones are strictly prohibited for the test.

Candidate Test Results(Score Card) has been released & is available on the official website of JLEE 2019 from 16 July 2019.

Procedure to check the Result

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of JLEE.

Step 2: candidate should Navigate to Download JLEE 2019 Score Card.

Step 3: Enter their Roll Number, date of birth and click on submit.

Step 4: The online Score-Card for JLEE 2019 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it for further use.

Cut Off Procedure

The Cut Off of JLEE exam will depend on many factors such as previous years cut-off, number of applicants, overall performance. Some of the factors are mentioned below:

• Number of Candidates appeared in the exam.

• No of candidates qualify the exam.

• Level of difficulty of the question paper.

• No. of the vacancy in the exam.

• Cut Off may also be sectional wise.

Steps to be Followed at the time of Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

JLEE Counselling 2019 will be conducted by DTE, Assam.

Counselling for JLEE is generally held in two rounds and in offline mode where candidates have to report to the specified venue as per the merit list printed in the notification.

The merit list for the waitlisted candidates will also be published as all candidates mentioned in the notification have to be present for document verification and other formalities in case they are allotted a seat.

The steps to be followed are as follows:

Registration:  Candidates have to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 600/- and register for the counselling process of JLEE 2019.

Choice of Institute: They will have to choose the institute as per their preference.

Verification of Documents: Candidates must take all the specified documents and get them verified before admissions.

Seat Allotment: Once the above steps are completed, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their merit and choice of the institute. They will be required to pay the admission fee and confirm their admission.

Second Round of JLEE 2019 Counselling: The second round of counselling will be held for all vacant seats after round one.

DTE Assam will publish a merit list of all candidates who have qualified and are deemed eligible for admissions to attend the same.

The steps to be followed are the same as mentioned above.
