Passed in 2nd PUC/ 12th Std/ Equivalent Exam with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and also 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC/ 12th Std / Equivalent Exam in all the subjects. [45% for SC, ST, Cat -1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates and the person with a disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including Dyslexia)]

The norms prescribed in NATA/ JEE Paper - 2; Admission Rules; relevant Government orders are applicable in determining the merit for admission to Architecture course.

Engineering/ Technology courses (B.E./ B.Tech)

Passed in 2nd PUC/ 12th Std/ Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

By taking marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCM subjects. (No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET)

Passed in 2nd PUC/ 12th Std/ Equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects.

By taking marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCMB subjects. (No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET)

a.  In the case of Agriculturist Quota, the merit list will be prepared based on 25% marks each, secured in concerned combinations in II years PUC (PCMB) & CET and 50% marks secured in the Practical Test.

b.  Minimum of 50% marks in Practical Examination is required to claim seat under Agriculturist Quota. Further, Agriculturist Quota is applicable only for courses detailed in Sl. No. 3 and 4.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)

Passed in 2nd PUC/ 12th Std. and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

In the case of B.V.Sc & AH merit will be prepared based on 50% of Marks secured in CET (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 50% of marks scored in the practical test.

Passed in 2nd PUC/ 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

KCET 2020 - Application Process

KCET 2020 - Application Process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Karnataka Educational Authority (KEA) and click on the CET 2020 link in the right corner of the screen.

Step 2: The new page related to KCET 2020 will be displayed. Then click on "CET 2020 - UG Online Application" link.

Step 3: New page of KCET 2020 containing Important Notes and Calendar of Events will be displayed. Go through the mentioned details and click on "New User" link at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Instruction and procedure for filling the Online KCET 2020 Application form will be displayed. Read all the instruction carefully and click on "Proceed to Apply Online" button.

Step 5: Registration page of KCET 2020 will appear. Select Yes or No option for whether the student is a citizen of India and also for Do you appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC 2020 examination. Then enter your 13 digits "Student Number" assigned by PUE Department and click on "Submit" button.

Step 6: Enter your Personal Details, Contact Information, Gender, Date of Birth, etc. Then create a user ID and password whereas the password should have at least 1 alphabet, 1 number, and 1 special character. Then select a security question and enter the answer, enter your Adhaar number, security code and Click on "Submit" button.

Step 7: The process of Registration will be completed and the Registered KCET 2020 Application number will be sent to your registered phone number and email ID. Then click on "Click Here to Login" button to proceed with the KCET 2020 application process.

Step 8: Login page of KCET 2020 will be displayed. Enter the KCET 2019 application number and password and click on "Login" button to fill the KCET 2020 Application form.

Step 9: Enter your permanent address and select state, district, taluk (if applicable) from the drop-down option in the KCET 2020 Application form. Then select the appropriate option as either yes or no for the below-mentioned details appeared in previous KCET exam. Click "Save and Next" button.

Step 10: Reservation details of KCET 2019 to be filled in the next page. Select the Courses for which you are looking to get admission, Religion, Mother Tongue, Family Income, Reservation Category, Eligibility Clause code, special category, etc. Select/Enter all the details which are mandatory and it will be indicated in (*) symbol. After filling complete details click on  "Save and Next" button.

Step 11: Select the Class Studied individually from (1st standard to 12th standard) and enter your School/College Name, Address, Phone number, year of joining from, completed on and also the year of passing. Then Click on "Save & Next" button.

Step 12:  Upload the Scanned copy of Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression, and Parent/Guardian signature or thumb impression in the specified format mentioned in the right corner of the screen in KCET 2020 Application form.

Step 13: Select the "I Agree" option and click on "Submit" button. Once you click on submit then no further changes can be made in KCET 2019 Application form.

Step 14: Pay the KCET 2020 Application Form Fee by selecting the Bank Name and click on "Download Challan" button. Then take the printout of downloaded challan and make the payment to the respective bank within Last week of Feb 2020. Preserve the copy of challan after payment for further use.

Step 15: KCET 2020 Application Form Fee payment can be made in Online also by selecting "Bill Desk - online pay" button at the bottom of the payment page. Payment window will appear then click on "Pay Now" button. Then enter your Debit/Credit card details and click on "Make Payment" button to complete the KCET 2020 Application Process.

The candidates have to download the admit card from the website and have to come with the printed copy to the examination Centre.

Admit Cards will not be dispatched in Hard Copy. Candidates must preserve the Admit Card till the admission process is over.

KCET 2020 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates should be aware and follow instructions at the KCET exam centre 2020 for the exam day:

• KCET Admit Card 2019 has to be always with the candidate at the KCET 2020 exam centre.

• All the candidates who have got the KCET to admit card have to be there at the KCET 2020 exam centre 2020 40 minutes before the asked time to report.

• All the candidates have to be aware of their respective seat in their exam hall at the KCET 2020 exam centre.

• Electronic devices are not to be brought in the KCET 2020 exam centre and it will lead to cancellation of the examination of the respective candidate at the KCET exam centre 2020.

• Issues occurring with the allotted computer system should be raised to the respective invigilator.

• All the candidates will not be allowed to leave their respective KCET 2020 exam centre until the conclusion of the test.

• The KCET 200 exam centre has some stringent rules and regulations which needed to be taken seriously by all the candidates to have no problems in the examination process.

• The exam will be conducted in 2 sessions namely- Morning Session & Afternoon Session. 

• The exam timings, KCET 2020 exam centre and the session are to be carefully noted down to start preparing accordingly and to reduce inconveniences.

• A valid photo identity proof with its photocopy and the KCET admit card needs to be carried to the KCET exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and sit for the exam.

• The KCET 2020 result has been declared on 1st June 2020 (tentatively)and the results will be displayed along with the scorecard. 

• Candidates can check there KCET 2020 result from the official KEA website or the applicants can make use of link mentioned below to check their Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2020 Result

Steps to check KCET 2020 Results

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of KCET 2020 to view the results. Click on the KCET 2019 result section.

• Step 2: Enter the application number and text displayed in the result portal. Then click on the submit button.

• Step 3: Download the result of KCET 2020 and keep it safe until the Admission Procedure

KCET 2020 Results objection

• Candidates have an option to submit their objections within three days from the release of KCET 2020 results if they have any issue after they have checked their KCET 2020 results.

• After the candidate submission of the objections, re-valuation will happen for the candidate's answer sheet later those candidates will get results after the re-valuation.

KCET 2020 - Counselling Dates & Schedule

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the KCET 2020 Counselling process for admission to B. Tech colleges in Karnataka. The counselling date for KCET 2020 will be announced on the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority.
