The candidates who fail to clear the defined criteria will not be getting the admission to the post-graduate course. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has provided wrong information the admission of such candidate will be cancelled. The NEET PG 2019 eligibility criteria are as follows.

• The candidates who possess the MBBS degree or a certificate which declares the candidate has the provisional MBBS degree can apply for the NEET PG. The certificate or the MBBS degree must be recognized by the Medical Council of India.

• Along with the degree or certificate, the candidate must possess 1 year of experience certificate. The candidate can apply for the NEET PG 2019 exam by March 31, 2019.

• NEET PG eligibility criteria define that the candidates who have cleared the MBBS degree from the state of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir will not be getting seats under the All India Quota. The candidates who have been allotted government medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are eligible for the All India 50% Quota.

• The candidates must provide the duly signed affidavit stating that the candidate got the college through the centralized counselling, along with the print out of the acknowledgement of submission of NEET PG Application Form. The submission has to be done by the candidates who have done the MBBS degree from the state of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir.

• The declaration must reach the office by November 31, 2019. The submission of the declaration has to be done at the office of the Deputy Director (Examination):

• The candidates must be sure themselves about the NEET eligibility and if found at any stage later that the candidate is ineligible, such candidate’s candidature is cancelled. The candidates who have cleared the exam and have been allocated seat through NEET-PG 2019 Counseling can also be asked to leave the seat under the rule.

• There are no exceptions to the eligibility guidelines and thus the candidates are requested to apply for only if they have valid degrees and have completed the internship by March 31, 2019. All the NEET PG 2019 application form that has been submitted will be cancelled if the degree or internship certificate is invalid.

• Merely completing the NEET-PG registration process does not confer any applicant for the seat for the PG program. The candidates have to clear the exam and appear for NEET PG 2019 Counselling wherein a seat will be allocated.

• The internship certificate must be submitted under NEET PG eligibility rule must define clearly the starting date and the last date of the Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship program. The certificate of internship must be submitted in original.
• The colleges that received recognition after the MCI Cutoff date are considered invalid.

• The registration of the applicant is necessary with the M.C.I/ State Medical Council. The documentary proof of the same must be furnished by the candidate on the day of admission.

• As per eligibility rule defined by some Universities/ Institutes, candidates who are pursuing the PG degree from their college or any other college or university cannot apply for the PG program again in their college. The candidate can thus be refused for NEET PG admission. The NBE/MCC/MoHFW shall not be responsible for admission cancellation for such students.

• The candidates can go through the registration process only once.

Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents: (Unfair means case shall be registered against the candidates submitting false/ forged documents.)

• A printed copy of the Admit Card with Photo of the candidate pasted on it; &

• Photocopy of Permanent / Provisional SMC/MCI registration, to be retained by the test centre

• Anyone of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired)

Test Centre Location:

• Exact address and location of the test centre shall be indicated in the admit card. Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the test centre locations at least one day prior to the examination day and ensure that they report for the test as per scheduled time only. Candidates are required to plan their travel accordingly.
• Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the location of the test centre and plan travel time accordingly. Candidates have to reach the test centres on or before the reporting time. Candidates may note that late entry to the examination premises is not permitted under any circumstances. NBE shall not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate in reaching the centre due to any reason.
• All candidates at the centre shall be frisked by security guards and biometric information shall be captured.
• Identity checks will be made upon arrival at the test centre to ensure that there are no unauthorized candidates appearing for the test. Candidates are required to cooperate with the security checks.
• Please note that only the registered candidates will be allowed at the examination centre.
• Friends or relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed entry in the test centre under any circumstances and will not be allowed to contact the candidate while the examination process is ongoing

Reporting of Candidates To The Test Centre:

Candidates may note that the reporting time refers to the time at which the candidate reaches the Reporting counter at the test centre. A candidate who fails to report to the reporting counter by the stipulated time as indicated above shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises that is Reporting counter and beyond. The candidate should arrive at the Reporting counter at least two hours before the commencement of exam i.e. 01:30 PM. This allows for security checks, identity verification, image capture, bio-metric Note: Possession/ Use of Mobile Phones/ Electronic Devices is strictly prohibited in the premises of NBE Examination Centre. Candidates shall be liable for penal action for Possession/ Use of Mobile Phone/ Electronic Devices 29 capture etc. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. The following shall be undertaken upon reporting at the counter.

• ID verification – The original documents as has been indicated in Para 8.5 will be checked in the original. All candidates at the centre shall be frisked by security guards.
• Capture of left thumbprints – The left thumbprints of all candidates shall be captured electronically and candidates are requested to cooperate with the on-duty staff with this process.
• Capturing of the digital image – As a security measure, the digital image of the reporting candidates shall be captured and taken on record.
• The invigilator /on duty staff shall guide the candidate to the assigned work station.
• Kindly note that the reporting time has been indicated to timely complete the foregoing activities as well as to familiarize the candidate with the process.
• Candidates may note that they will not be allowed entry to the test centre after 3:00 PM. vii. Candidates are also advised to check the requirement for mandatory documents on Testing Day and comply with the same. viii. NBE / Test centre / Designated Agency / Staff on duty shall not be liable under any circumstances for delayed reporting and/ or non-presentation of mandatory documents.

Security at The Test Centre

Candidates will not be allowed to take the following items inside the examination centre under any circumstances. All the candidates will be subjected to compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre:

• Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
• Any electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch/Health Band, Calculator, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
• All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Necklace with pendants, Badge, Brooch etc.
• Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
• Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle etc.
• Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth device, spy camera etc

No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions. To avoid any hardship candidates are advised not to bring such items along with them at the test centre.

Left/Right thumbprints and photographs of all the candidates will be captured and candidates are requested to cooperate with this essential activity to avoid any cases of impersonation. This is a security feature which will also ensure that only genuine and bonafide candidate appear for the exam and allowed to join an institute for training.

ID verification – The original documents as has been indicated checked in the original. All candidates at the centre shall be frisked by security guards. N.B. All candidates are required to cooperate with the above-mentioned security measures the test centre. This will help in preventing any use of unfair means and will be instrumental in maintaining the sanctity of the examination. Any candidate not adhering to the aforementioned security measures will not be allowed to take the test.

Test Day Procedures:

• After verification of Identity and biometrics, candidates will be escorted to the designated computer terminal at the examination centre and an invigilator checks in the candidate.

• Candidates are required to keep their admit card and photo identification at all times during the conduct of the examination.

• Candidates are required to listen to the invigilator’s instructions to begin the test.

• No rough paper for any rough work shall be provided at the centre.

• Each workstation will be blocked on three sides – front, left and right. Candidates are advised not to look around at other candidates as peeping into the computer monitor screen of the other candidate(s) will be considered as use of unfair means and may lead to cancellation of candidature. Please also note that there will be surveillance cameras that record video.

• Any suspicious or disruptive behaviour on part of the candidate may lead to cancellation of candidature.

• For any issues during the test, a candidate may raise his or her hand to notify Invigilator.

• In case of any disruption, rest assured that a registered candidate will get to test again within the testing/examination window.

NEET 2019 PG - Counselling Schedule

Step 1 – New User Registration

Candidates need to click on the link given above to register for NEET PG counselling 2019. Submit details like the stream (Medical/Dental), NEET PG roll no., application no., candidate’s name, birth date, security pin etc and click on ‘Submit’ button. The agreement page will be displayed on the screen and aspirants will have an option to click on ‘I Agree’ or ‘I Don’t Agree’. If the candidates want to continue with the application process, then they will be required to click on ‘I Agree’ button. The login credentials will reflect on the screen. Candidates will now be asked to take note of the login credentials and the password which should be protected with a security question.

Step 2 – Submission of Personal Details

In this step of NEET PG counselling 2019, candidates will be required to submit details like mother’s name, father’s name and address details of the candidate. Click on the the ‘Submit’ button. It must be noted that these details cannot be changed by the candidates afterwards, therefore, the information provided should be similar to the documents candidates will submit at the time of admission.

Step 3 – Payment

Candidates will be required to submit a non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee. The fees can be paid through an online medium like Credit/Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. The below table will acquaint candidates with the amount of fee that they will be required to submit-

Step 3 – Registration Slip

After the successful submission of details, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen which can be printed as it will be useful in the further admission process. To continue with the process, click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 4 – Available Choices

The choice filling process of NEET PG counselling has started and a link for the same is available on this page. The registered aspirants must log in through their NEET PG roll number, password and stream. The ‘Available Choices’ link will be enabled as and when the counselling process starts. On the left side of the screen, the available choices will be displayed on the screen. Candidates who will submit the fees for both 50% AIQ/Central Universities and Deemed Universities will be eligible to apply for both the category of seats. 

Step 5 – Selecting the choices

Candidates need to click on the ‘+’ button available with each preference to select the choices. As the candidates select a particular preference, the choices will be transferred from the left-hand side of the screen to the right-hand side. After selecting choices, candidates will be asked to click on ‘Save & Continue’ button to save and continue with the process or ‘Save & Go to Home Page’ button to save the options and exit.

Candidates can move up, move down and delete the choices. The upper arrow and the down arrow will move the choice up or down respectively by one step. The delete option will delete the selected choice. Aspirants can also click on a selected choice and drag it to a particular choice interchange the choices.

Step 6 – Choice Locking

It is mandatory to lock the choices for the final submission of preferences in NEET PG 2019 counselling. The choices can be modified until they are locked. If in case, candidates do not lock the choices then the filled choices will be considered final and will automatically get locked on the notified date.

Step 7 – Take a Printout

It is advisable to take a printout of the filled choices as it could be beneficial for candidates in the further NEET PG counselling process. If the candidates have not locked their choices then also they can take a printout of the choice preferences after the choice locking process is over.
