National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) is organized by the NBE (National Board of Examinations) once in a year. NEET PG 2020 Exam Dates has been released now. It is the only national-level medical entrance exam. The exam will be conducted through an Online mode. NEET PG is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses in the country. NEET 2020 offers admissions to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses in the country.
NEET PG is the entrance test to be used for admissions to 50% of All India Quota seats and 50% State Quota seats (all the seats in case of Jammu and Kashmir state), seats in Central and Deemed Universities and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions. Reporting of Candidates To The Test Centre:
Candidates may note that the reporting time refers to the time at which the candidate reaches the Reporting counter at the test centre. A candidate who fails to report to the reporting counter by the stipulated time as indicated above shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises that is Reporting counter and beyond. The candidate should arrive at the Reporting counter at least two hours before the commencement of exam i.e. 01:30 PM. This allows for security checks, identity verification, image capture, bio-metric Note: Possession/ Use of Mobile Phones/ Electronic Devices is strictly prohibited in the premises of NBE Examination Centre. Candidates shall be liable for penal action for Possession/ Use of Mobile Phone/ Electronic Devices 29 capture etc. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. The following shall be undertaken upon reporting at the counter.
Security at The Test Centre
Candidates will not be allowed to take the following items inside the examination centre under any circumstances. All the candidates will be subjected to compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre:
No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions. To avoid any hardship candidates are advised not to bring such items along with them at the test centre.
Left/Right thumbprints and photographs of all the candidates will be captured and candidates are requested to cooperate with this essential activity to avoid any cases of impersonation. This is a security feature which will also ensure that only genuine and bonafide candidate appear for the exam and allowed to join an institute for training.
ID verification – The original documents as has been indicated checked in the original. All candidates at the centre shall be frisked by security guards. N.B. All candidates are required to cooperate with the above-mentioned security measures the test centre. This will help in preventing any use of unfair means and will be instrumental in maintaining the sanctity of the examination. Any candidate not adhering to the aforementioned security measures will not be allowed to take the test. |

Step 1 – New User Registration Candidates need to click on the link given above to register for NEET PG counselling 2020. Submit details like the stream (Medical/Dental), NEET PG roll no., application no., candidate’s name, birth date, security pin etc and click on ‘Submit’ button. The agreement page will be displayed on the screen and aspirants will have an option to click on ‘I Agree’ or ‘I Don’t Agree’. If the candidates want to continue with the application process, then they will be required to click on ‘I Agree’ button. The login credentials will reflect on the screen. Candidates will now be asked to take note of the login credentials and the password which should be protected with a security question.
Step 2 – Submission of Personal Details In this step of NEET PG counselling 2020, candidates will be required to submit details like mother’s name, father’s name and address details of the candidate. Click on the ‘Submit’ button. It must be noted that these details cannot be changed by the candidates afterwards, therefore, the information provided should be similar to the documents candidates will submit at the time of admission.
Step 3 – Payment Candidates will be required to submit a non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee. The fees can be paid through an online medium like Credit/Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. The below table will acquaint candidates with the amount of fee that they will be required to submit-
Step 3 – Registration Slip After the successful submission of details, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen which can be printed as it will be useful in the further admission process. To continue with the process, click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 4 – Available Choices The choice filling process of NEET PG counselling has started and a link for the same is available on this page. The registered aspirants must log in through their NEET PG roll number, password and stream. The ‘Available Choices’ link will be enabled as and when the counselling process starts. On the left side of the screen, the available choices will be displayed on the screen. Candidates who will submit the fees for both 50% AIQ/Central Universities and Deemed Universities will be eligible to apply for both the category of seats.
Step 5 – Selecting the choices Candidates need to click on the ‘+’ button available with each preference to select the choices. As the candidates select a particular preference, the choices will be transferred from the left-hand side of the screen to the right-hand side. After selecting choices, candidates will be asked to click on ‘Save & Continue’ button to save and continue with the process or ‘Save & Go to Home Page’ button to save the options and exit.
Candidates can move up, move down and delete the choices. The upper arrow and the down arrow will move the choice up or down respectively by one step. The delete option will delete the selected choice. Aspirants can also click on a selected choice and drag it to a particular choice interchange the choices.
Step 6 – Choice Locking It is mandatory to lock the choices for the final submission of preferences in NEET PG 2020 counselling. The choices can be modified until they are locked. If in case, candidates do not lock the choices then the filled choices will be considered final and will automatically get locked on the notified date.
Step 7 – Take a Printout It is advisable to take a printout of the filled choices as it could be beneficial for candidates in the further NEET PG counselling process. If the candidates have not locked their choices then also they can take a printout of the choice preferences after the choice locking process is over. |

How many choices can be submitted at the time of NEET PG counselling 2020? |
Candidates can submit any number of choices as they wish. It must be ensured by the candidates that the choices submitted are in order of preference. |
If a candidate is not allotted any seat in any of the rounds of counselling, then will the counselling fees be refunded? |
Candidates will be submitting two types of fees at the time of registration- Non-Refundable Registration Fee and Refundable Tuition Fee.
