PESSAT 2019  Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility

• Aspirants must have passed a 10 + 2 or equivalent examination by a recognized board with Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• The candidate must have obtained a total of at least 60% marks in  the PESSAT 2019 Qualification Exam.
• For the B.Tech program, applicants for admission to the program should have passed the PESSAT (National Level Examination) or KCET (State Level Examination).

• Aspirants must have passed a 10 + 2 or equivalent examination by a recognized board in any stream
• The candidate must have obtained a total of at least 60% marks in  the PESSAT 2019 Qualification Exam.
• Aspirants must have a test score in PESSAT & UCEED.

• Applicants must qualify the 10 + 2 exam with an overall mark of 50% and it is mandatory to study mathematics for the B.Arch course.
• Applicants must qualify for the CLAT exam to be admitted to the BBA LLB course.
• Applicants must have passed the NATA exam to be admitted to the B.Arch program.
• The application form PESSAT 2019 must be completed by the candidates, as well as they should have upload their CLAT/ NATA score.

B.Tech Course Exam Pattern 

Correct Answer: +4 marks will be awarded to candidates for marking every correct answer.

Incorrect Answer: There is no negative marking.

Note : Candidates for the DAT (Design Aptitude test) are required to bring pens, sketching pencils and a portfolio of their previous creative works. 

• The PESSAT 2019 syllabus for this course will include the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English. For physics, chemistry and mathematics, candidates are advised to follow their class 12 curriculum. The English section will only contain questions about grammar.

• The PESSAT 2019 course syllabus for this course will include the following topics: Comprehensive English/ Oral Level, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning.

• The PESSAT 2019 syllabus of this course will include the following topics: basic knowledge of colors and shapes, general knowledge, sensitivity to aspects of typography, spatial sense, ability to visualize/ imagine, 3D visualization, freehand drawing, interpretation of Natural laws and basic engineering, basic English, basic analytical skills. PESSAT for B.Des is a Design Ability Test (DAT) and it is a test of paper and pen. Candidates are requested to bring pens, crayons, an eraser and a portfolio of creative work done.

• Candidates must carry the Admit card to the  examination room. Anyone who fails to do so will be prevented from taking the exam.
• It is advisable to have on hand a copy of the admit card, which can serve as a future reference.
• A candidate must bring his/ her valid original documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.
• Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts
• Candidates will not be allowed to carry calculators, mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets in the examination hall.
• If the candidate has problems with the computer provided, he must immediately contact the invigilator.
• As there is no negative marking in PESSAT 2019, it is advisable for candidates to try as many questions as possible.
• Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam is over and till the invigilator permits them

PESSAT 2019 Results

PESSAT 2019 Result has declared for B.Tech course on 25th May and for the other courses the results will be announced after 3 days from the test date.

The candidates can check there results from Official Website of PES University.

 Procedure to check the result:

Step 1: Applicant has to go through the official website of PES University.

Step 2: Link on the link " B.Tech Result"

Step 3: Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth and then click on Continue.

Step 4: The online Scorecard for PESSAT 2019 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it and take to Printout which will be used at the time of Counselling.

Counselling Process

• A merit list will be prepared based on the total number of Marks obtained in PESSAT-2019.

• The result of the examination and the details of the counselling will be published on the official website of PES University.

• The PESSAT 2019 counseling and interview session takes place before the final selection of candidates by the PES University.

• Applicants who meet the minimum cutoff may participate in the on-site counseling process.

• If the candidate does not participate in the counselling process, the corresponding seat will be proposed to the next eligible candidate.

• It is advisable to take original and photocopied documents for counselling/ interview round.
