B. Tech. Marine Engineering:

 

You must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with:

 

  • At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M) and
  • At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII

 

Physical Fitness:

 

The Institute has laid down detailed minimum physical fitness and medical standards. The candidate has to meet these standards to qualify for admission. You are advised to have yourself medically examined by competent doctors before applying. This will ensure that you meet the minimum requirements, which in turn will avoid disappointment at a later stage.

 

B. Sc. Nautical Science:

 

Note: Candidates for the B.Sc. Nautical Technology programme must have 6/6 vision in both eyes.

Test day Requirements

The Admit Card is an important document; it must be preserved and produced at the time of admission also.  

 

Report to the selected test centre with two copies of the Hall Ticket, one photocopy of the application form and any one of the following for photo identification:

  • Permanent Driving License

 

  • Passport

 

  • PAN card

 

  • Aadhaar card

 

  • Government-issued ID containing photograph and signature

TMISAT Exam Day Instructions:

 

Students must follow the below instruction carefully while appearing for the examination:

 

  • Reach on or before the time mentioned in the document.

 

  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.

 

  • Students can take the plain clipboard along with them in the examination hall but, they must ensure nothing should be written on the board.

 

  • Xerox copy of photo ID proof.

 

  • Students should carry the same passport size photograph as the one uploaded while filling the TMISAT online form.

 

  • The print copy of the TMISAT Admit Card is mandatory.

Counselling

TMISAT 2019 - Important Highlights

  • All candidates need to attend the counselling process in person on the specified time and venue.
  • Allotment of undergraduate engineering seats will be done through candidates’ marks in Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test (TMISAT) 2019.
  • If any candidate has discarded his/her allotted seat then the same will be allotted to the next applicant in the merit.
  • Candidates must be very attentive while filling their choice of courses as upon submission they won’t be able to make any sort of changes.

TMISAT 2019 - Counselling Procedure

TMISAT 2019 - Counselling Procedure:

 

The counselling is conducted in four stages

 

  • Counselling for Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test 2019 will be held in offline mode at Tolani Maritime Institute campus.
  • Candidates will have to report in person for counselling.
  • Kindly note, that only those whose names appear in the merit list should appear for the counselling along with mentioned documents for verification.
  • At the counselling, you will be asked to mention the course you wish to pursue.
  • That, after seeing the vacant seat in the college and course, you will be informed about the seat availability right there.
  • Next step will be a medical test of selected candidates by the team of the approved doctor.
  • If you are satisfied with the course and college suggested, then pay the fees of the course to confirm admission.

TMISAT 2019 - Eligibility

FAQ

Answer

I have appeared for class XII exam this year. The results are not yet declared. Can I still fill up the form and appear in TMISAT? Yes. You can fill the form leaving the space for class XII marks blank. The class XII marks are required to be intimated by fax or online as soon as the results are declared. Candidate will become ineligible in case he/she scores less than 60% marks in PCM and the Form Fees in such cases will also be non-refundable.
Can I appear in TMISAT in April/  May as well as in June? No. You can appear in the test only once in a year.
I have secured less than 60% marks in PCM, but the aggregate is more than 60%. Am I eligible for admission? No. The eligibility is at least 60% in PCM group.
I have completed B.Sc. degree. Am I eligible for admission to B. Tech. ME or B. Sc. NS? You will be eligible for application in either of the programmes if you are less than 21 years on 1st Sept. of the year of admission and you have secured at least 60% marks in PCM group in 10+2 exam.
I have completed Diploma in Engg., can I apply for the courses in TMI?
No. The admissions are based only on 10+2 marks.

Every year for the batch commencing in July, the application forms are available on this website from January.
I do not have a printer. Can I get a printed form so that I can send it to TMI by mail?

No. The only online application form is available.
