TS ECET 2020 - Preparation Tips

Preparation Tips for TS ECET 2020:

Practising previous question papers: It is beneficial to go through previous years’ papers as it gives you a detailed idea of the  Exam such as a type of questions, level of difficulty, and paper pattern. 

Know your strengths and weaknesses: Do your TS ECET Exam preparation strictly governed by self-analysis and work on your strengths and weaknesses.

Study within a schedule: Try to stick to your schedule and train yourself to study for a specific required number of hours every day apart from practising extra questions.

Revision notes: Prepare proper notes of concepts that require regular revision. These could be mathematical formulae, chemical reactions, anything that is important and is expected to be remembered for the TS ECET Exam. It will help you in your last minute preparation and go through the concepts.

Strict Strategic Plan:

Before the start, your preparation for TS ECET Exam, design your timetable so that every subject will get the proper time for preparation. Take help from previous year paper for familiarizing yourself with the type of questions asked in the examination. More focus on the topics in which you are weak and require a lot of attention.

Clear Your Basics:

If your basics of any subject are not clear then, it is obvious that at anyhow you can’t score good marks in that subject. You can clear your basics by start your studies with the initial level to gain basic knowledge.

Avoid Stress and Be Calm:

Don’t take stress; try to avoid it as it may affect your health as well as your performance. Take enough sleep and healthy food that will sharpen your memory and keeps you fit. Try to take rest of a few minutes after every hour, it increases your concentration and interest.

Study Material:

Opt for the right study material for TS ECET Exam as it is very important for obtaining good marks and for better preparation.

Work Hard and Keep Revising:

Practice previous year question paper as much as possible, it will boost your confidence level as well as enhance your speed and knowledge. Don’t skip important topics and chapters. Try to complete the whole syllabus 2-3 days before the examination and reserve your last 2-3 days for revision.

TS ECET 2020 - Counselling Dates & Schedule

Candidates are shortlisted based on their rank secured in TS ECET 2020 can attend the Counselling process in the month of June 2020. Counselling Process will be announced on the Official Website.

• Counselling will be held in different phases according to the availability of seats in various offered courses. Online filing of Basic Information and Payment of Processing Fee for counselling will begin from July 2020.

• For admission in B.Tech lateral entry and B.Pharma course, 85% of seats will be reserved for the students belong to TS/AP state and 15% seats will be open to all other candidates.

• The Telangana State ECET counselling will be conducted in different phases according to the availability of seats in various offered courses.

TS ECET 2020 - Counselling Procedure

TS ECET 2020 - Counselling Procedure:

Those Candidates who are going to participate in Telangana ECET Counselling, they have to choose College/ University priority in upper to lower preference.

The seat allotment to the candidates will be based on a number of seats and priority of Candidate according to their ranks.

Stage 1: Candidate Registration for Certificate verification

• After the announcement of TS ECET Counselling, hand over the TS ECET Rank wise Counselling Date and Time to officer at the entrance.

• Wait for your turn in the registration hall.

• When your rank is called pay processing fee and obtain a receipt, furnish your mobile number

• Collect the Registration-Cum-Verification form from computer operator at Registration counter and verify whether your mobile number is printed correctly or not

• Enter details i.e. hall ticket number, rank etc. in the Register and append your signature.

• Your registration is completed. Go back and wait in the registration hall for TS Engg Entrance Test Counselling.

Stage 2: Verification of Certificates

• You are required to verify the details printed on Registration-Cum-Verification form for correctness. If there is any mistake, you can ask for a correction to the verification officer.

• The Officers will verify all your original certificates at Telangana ECET Counselling Place like Rank Card, Hall ticket, Marks memo, Study certificate, income certificate etc.

Stage 3: TS ECET 2020 Web Counselling Procedure

• When certificate verification is done, candidates need to attend the Telangana ECET web Counselling

• For this, candidates need to bring your fee receipt because it contains registration id and password.

• After that, select TS ECET Web Counselling by using these login credentials.

• On the screen, you can see the web option details, candidates need to choose colleges available in the web option list.

• After selecting, candidates will receive SMS regarding seat allotment order at your registered phone number.

• Degree or Diploma Marks sheets

• In case B.Sc Students 9th class to till now Study Certificates

• Residence Certificate for preceding 7 years of studies (Qualifying examination). Diploma candidates who have private study without institutionalized education.

• Residential Certificate of father/mother for 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Telangana or if Andhra Pradesh then takes a certificate from Tahsildar in respect of Non-Local Candidates.

• Integrated Community Certificate, father’s Caste certificate and Aadhar Card in the case of OBC/ ST/ SC issued by the competent authority.

I possess a graduation degree, can I apply for TS ECET 2020?

Candidates must have a Diploma degree in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy from any recognized university or college.

Three-year duration B.Sc graduates with mathematics subject are also eligible to apply.

Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks for general and 40% marks for SC/ ST categories.
