Eligibility

TS PECET 2019 - Eligibility

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS PECET- 2019.

 

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana only. The candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

 

Eligibility for B.P.Ed. (Two Years): Candidates should have appeared third-year degree final examination or passed three years degree recognized by any university in Telangana or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2019. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.

 

Eligibility for D.P.Ed. (2 years) : Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Telangana State and should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2019. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.

 

The in-service Physical Education Teachers (P.E.Ts) seeking admission into B.P.Ed. (Two years) Course or D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Course need not appear for an Entrance Test conducted by TS PECET Convener. They have to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective D.E.O.s through proper channel as per their notification.

 

Note: Graduates obtained the degree under distance mode from Deemed to be Universities and Private Universities are not eligible unless such programmes have the approval of joint action committee of UGC and Distance Education Council and AICTE.

Important Instructions to TS PECET-2019 Candidates:

 

1) Candidates who wish to apply for TS PECET-2019 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in ONLINE APPLICATION. The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.

 

2) Candidates are requested to check the filled in particulars before pressing SUBMIT button DURING online application. If a candidate wishes to change, he/she can change selecting the EDIT button. After verifying and satisfying, submit the ONLINE APPLICATION.

 

3) After submission of ONLINE APPLICATION, if any corrections are to be incorporated, a candidate can log in to the website with his details and modify the information. If a candidate wants to change the information which is not allowed on the website, a candidate has to send a mail to tspecet2019@gmail.com or contact TS PECET-2019 office. HENCE, CANDIDATES ARE REQUESTED TO FILL THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM CAREFULLY.

 

4) Documental Information can be collected as mentioned below.

 

  • Hall ticket Number of the Qualifying Degree - Marks Memo / Hall ticket number of Degree

 

  • Date of Birth:
    1. Birth Certificate / SSC or Equivalent Certificate.
    2. Hall ticket No. of SSC or Equivalent examination Certificate - SSC or Equivalent Certificate.

 

  • Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/Non-local)
    1. The local candidate certificate issued by MRO or competent authority.

 

  • Income of Parents (income is less than Rs. 1.0 lakh, above 1.0 lakh and below 2.0 lakhs or more than Rs. 2.0 lakhs) - The Income certificate issued by competent authority.

 

  • Category (SC, ST, BC. Etc.) - The Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.

 

  • Special Category (NCC, Sports, CAP etc.) - The Certificate issued by a competent authority

 

5) Other Information required for filling Online Application

 

  • Recent passport size digital color photograph (size < 50 KB) of candidate for uploading.
  • Digital Signature of the candidate (size <30 KB) of a candidate for uploading.
  • Examination Center to which candidate wishes to appear TS PECET-2019 exam.
  • Gender (Male / Female.)
  • Community (Non-Minority / Minority).
  • Mobile Number of the candidate.
  • E-Mail of the candidate.
  • Place where Studied Graduation - URBAN or RURAL area.

 

6) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Center well before so that you can take examination tension-free.

 

7) You will not be ALLOWED to take an exam if you are late, we suggest you reach the exam centre before the exam starts time.

TS PECET Admit Card (also known as hall ticket) is released by Mahatma Gandhi University on the Official Website from 20.04.2019.

 

Aspirants can download TS PECET hall ticket by providing the registration number and date of birth. Candidates are informed that no hall ticket would be sent to them under any circumstance. Thus, they need to positively download the admit card from the official website of the exam.

For each of the events, marks shall be awarded, by using the conversion tables approved by the T.S.PECET Committee.

Qualify

TS PECET 2019 – Qualifying Marks
  • The qualifying marks in the TS PECET shall be 30% of the aggregate marks obtained in the actual test items i.e. Physical Efficiency Tests for 400 Marks and Skill Test in games for 100 Marks (Total of 500 Marks excluding incentive marks). There shall be no minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
  • There is no re-totalling, revaluation or personal identification of response sheets of the Entrance Test.

Counselling

TS PECET 2019 - Counselling Schedule

TS PECET Counselling 2019:

 

Counselling will be conducted through Web-based counselling process. The date of counselling will be notified in newspapers and website. Individual call letters will not be sent to the candidates. Hence the candidates should follow the newspaper notification for the dates of counselling and list of helpline centres.

 

List of Institutions for allotment of candidates, intake in each course and category in each institution would be announced at the time of counselling. The detailed instruction booklet for web counselling will be placed on the websites.

 

  • The qualified candidates of TS PECET-2018 who have not attended for certificate verification earlier shall get their certificates verified at Helpline Center - Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University, Warangal-506009.
  • Candidates are required to pay the Processing fee of Rs.500/- for SC/ST and Rs. 800/- for others.

  • TS PECET-2019 Rank card & Hall Ticket
  • Degree/ Intermediate or its equivalent pass certificate & Memorandum of Marks
  • Memo of SSC or its equivalent
  • Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
  • Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in T.S. excluding the period of their employment outside T.S. from M.R.O in case of Non-local candidates.
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Income Certificate as per the G.O. and rules in force.
  • In case of candidates seeking admission under SC, ST or BC Category, they have to submit an integrated community certificate prescribed by the Government and issued by the revenue authorities in the Government (Vide G.O.Ms.No.58, Social Welfare (J) Dept., Dt: 12-5-1997).
  • One set of Xerox copies of all certificates.
  • The candidates who got the allotment of the seat should submit the originals to the colleges at the time of admissions.
