Steps to fill-Up in Online Application Process:

• Visit the Vidyasaarathi Scholarship Official Website

• Click on 'Sign Up' on the Home Page.

• If already Registered User can click on 'Login'.

• Fill in your details in the online application form, enter Recaptcha, Tick the CheckBox and submit.

• The programme is free for all candidates. There is no registration fee.

• After Successful Registration, Save the form & press the Print button to get a printout.

• It is not possible to modify the data after Save & Print.

• Take two copies of the printout of your online application.

• Preserve the copy of the online application for future reference.

Vidyasaarathi Portal provides a single window for Students to access information about various Scholarship schemes provided by Fund Provider and make applications for Educational Scholarship.

If you want to apply for education Scholarship on Vidyasaarathi portal, you must register on the portal.

Please provide essential details as mentioned in the registration form.

Important Instructions:

• Please ensure that the registration details filled in are correct.

• Please enter the password in the required format.

Guidelines for Registering on Vidyasaarathi Portal:

• Name- Please enter student name same at all places in your Scholarship application.

• Mobile Number- Enter a valid mobile number. Student can provide mobile number of parent/ guardian.

• Email ID- Enter a valid email ID. Email ID will not be allowed to change. All necessary communications will be sent on this email ID.

Vidyasaarathi Scholarship 2019

• Vidyasaarathi is a technology-enabled initiative by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e-Gov) to bridge the gap in education finance in the country through an online platform.

• Students can search and apply for various education finance schemes they are qualified for.

• Fund providers, industries, and corporates can promote skill development by designing education finance schemes in Vidyasaarathi and manage these schemes

• Due to unaffordable and increasing fees structure of the higher education in India,  many students miss out on higher education due to lack of funds.

• Those students that are willing to pursue higher education and need financial support can use Vidyasaarathi platform to avail the required financial support. Students seeking education scholarship can search and apply for various education finance schemes that they are qualified for.

Vidyasaarathi would allow fund providers to create their own education finance scheme and manage it through their own foundation or through a Vidyasaarathi empanelled trust/ foundation. Through Vidyasaarathi the fund providers would be able to;

1. Create and manage schemes
2. Student application management
3. Student profile view access for decision making
4. Set-up different users, company logo, and passwords
5. Publish education finance information on Vidyasaarathi Facebook page

• Vidyasaarathi is a platform by NSDL e-Gov for applying to various scholarships provided by corporates. Vidyasaarathi does not charge any fees to students in any way to apply for scholarships.

• Awarding of the scholarship is the sole discretion right of a corporate.

• Applying to scholarships does not in any way guarantee the award of scholarship.

• Vidyasaarathi reserves the right to withdraw or amend any listed scholarship without prior notification.

• Scholarships are offered subject to funding and availability.

Vidyasaarathi Scholarship Selection Process 2019

•  As a first step, candidates need to register online for the programme.

• Vidyasaarathi Portal has provided the single window for Students to access information about various Scholarship schemes provided by Fund Provider and make applications for Educational Scholarship.

• Under Graduate Course – Minimum 50% in Class 12 (HSC).

• B.E/ B.Tech – Minimum 50% in Class 12 (HSC), Minimum 50% in Diploma.

• ITI – Minimum of 35% in Class 10 (SSC).

• Diploma – Minimum 50% in Class 10 (SSC).

• The scheme is available to the only student whose family income is between 0.00 – 500000.00.

• This scheme is not applicable for ACC employees and their Children.

The maximum amount of scholarship that can be rewarded, will be less than or equal to the educational course fees as stated in the admission certificate of fee receipt.

Also, the Scholarship amount is subject to differ from scheme to scheme, Institute to Institute and from course to course.

Scholarship of an applicant will be disbursed directly to the applicant's registered bank account or institute bank account.

As per the input provided by the student, if student does not fit into the eligibility criteria, then the scholarship cannot be provided.
