 Max Age: 55 years

(i) A Master degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry,
(ii) Eight(8) years’ experience in extension work at field level.
(iii) Five(5) years’ experience in Govt. Animal Farms or extension and development work of which at least two(2) years as head of the Farm/ head of the office.
(iv) Five (5) years’ experience in the field of disease diagnosis and eradication/ cattle, poultry or other livestock development.
2. Deputy Director  Max Age: 50 years

(i) A Master degree in Animal Husbandry or Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science and having Registration with the West Bengal Veterinary Council.
(ii) Eight years’ experience in total in the field/ farm/ disease investigation in laboratory, experience in the State Government/ Central Government Farms.

Officers Belonging to Category 'A' in West Bengal Information & Cultural Service

 Department of Information & Cultural Affairs Max Age: 36 years An Honours Degree from a recognized University.
