It is mandatory for every candidate those are about to appear for WBUT PGET 2019 to follow the rules and regulations stated below:

 

  • Candidates are expected to report to the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.

 

  • It is mandatory for all the applicants to carry WBUT PGET 2019 admit card (hard copy).

 

  • Candidates should also make sure that the hard copy of the admit card is not folded and nothing is scribbled on it.

 

  • Water bottles, digital calculators, books, digital devices or any other electronic devices and kinds of stuff are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

 

  • Tampered or mutilated admit card will not be entertained on the examination day. Thus, it is recommended to keep it carefully and unfolded.

 

  • Black ballpoint pen and HB pencils are only allowed inside the exam hall.

  • On the basis of their score in the exam and other considered qualification, the merit rank of WBUT PGET 2019 will be prepared and participants will be invited for counselling.

 

  • The candidates being successful in making a place in the merit list will have to pay Rs. 500 as counselling fee.

 

  • During the counselling of WBUT PGET 2019 participant will get the option of selecting an institute and course available on their turn as per the choice filled earlier.

 

  • On the basis of their choice participants will get the most suitable one for them.

What is the Qualification for M.Tech in Bioinformatics? B.E./B.Tech. (Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering), M.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biosciences) and B.Pharma students should have at least 60% marks in any two; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics during their Higher Secondary (10+2 level) examination, 50% in B.Sc (in Honours) and 55% in M.Sc (at Part-1). Candidates with B. Tech should have 7.25 CGPA (65%).
